Breeze Buses
Trip Planning (Hours, Routes, and Schedules)
- Buses run Monday through Saturday between 5 a.m. and 11 p.m., and Sundays between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. Some routes do not have Sunday service.
- All tickets must be paid with or cash or a pass.
- Route Schedules are available on the web at: Breeze Transit & Breeze Rider.
- Transferring to another bus route or an OnDemand zone may be required to complete your trip.

The Bus Route layer contains year-round and seasonal bus and transit routes throughout Sarasota County.

Pay on the bus
- Standard Fare: Bus fare is $1.50 on the bus. Ticket outlets sell 30-day passes for $50.
- Passengers who board Route 99 will not need to pay fare
- Payment is accepted by cash or pass. Change is not provided. Overpayments will be credited with a voucher.
- Insert cash, Breeze voucher / change card, or bus pass into the fare box.
- The fare box will not accept pennies or bills larger than $20.

Discount and Free Rider Programs
Passengers with a Gold Card or Medicare card pay $0.75. Gold Card applications are available for:• Seniors aged 65+.
• Medicare cardholders.
• Individuals with a qualifying disability.

Vehicle/Service Features
Every bus is equipped with:
- Free wireless internet
- A security camera
- The ability to “kneel” at the curb decreases the step height from the bus stop onto the bus
- An exterior bicycle rack that can accommodate 2 standard bicycles.
- The support arm adjusts to fit both child- and adult-sized bicycles.
- The driver can provide instructions for loading the bicycle but will not provide physical assistance.
- Safe Place: Providing access to immediate help and support for individuals who are in a crisis situation.
ADA Accessibility – Wheelchairs and other Mobility Devices
- Every bus has a loading ramp.
- Every bus can accommodate up to two wheelchairs. Wheelchairs and other mobility devices must be secured to the bus.
Passenger Rules
Personal Belongings:
- Personal belongings must fit in your lap or underneath the seat. Personal belongings must not interfere with securing a seat or rider, or the movement or comfort of other passengers.
- No flammable or explosive materials.
- Bicycles must be secured to the exterior bicycle rack.
- Food and beverages must be in closed containers.
- Any service animal, as defined by DOT regulation 49 C.F.R. Section 37.167(d), must be under control of the owner.
- Pets must be kept in small carriers.
Attire:
- Shirts, bottom attire, and shoes are required (no bare feet).
- Do not display lewd or indecent attire.
- Body and/or clothing should not emit an offensive odor.
Behavior:
- No distracting the driver.
- No eating; no consuming alcoholic beverages.
- No laying down or putting feet on seats.
- Children must be supervised at all times.
- Do not distribute leaflets or post unauthorized notices.
- Do not display lewd or indecent behavior.
- No loud talking, abusive, profane, or obscene language.
- Do not physically or verbally harass other passengers or Breeze employees.
- Do not use radios, media players, computers, etc. without headphones on low volume.
- No smoking or vaping of any tobacco produce or use of any non-tobacco electronic device.
- No soliciting, proselytizing, or attempting to buy or sell anything on Breeze buses or facilities.
- No littering.
