77 Siesta Islander (formerly Siesta Key Breeze)
Embrace the island life on Sarasota County's open-air trolley! The trolley route connects passengers to downtown Sarasota, Siesta Key Village, award-winning Siesta Beach, South Village and Turtle Beach Park & Campground.
The 77 Siesta Islander runs from 8am to 10pm every day of the week, with modified hours on these holidays:
New Year's Day: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Thanksgiving Day: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Christmas Eve: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
New Year's Eve: 8 a.m. to 1 a.m.
Additional information:
- FREE! No tipping.
- No bicycles allowed.
- Wheelchair accessible.
- No advertising space is being offered on the 77 Siesta Islander.
- Beach Equipment: There's a designated spot in the back of the trolley where beach chairs, umbrellas, and any bulky items may be placed.
Effective April 25th, the 77 Siesta Islander will no longer travel north of Canal Rd. The trolleys will stay on Siesta Key between Turtle Beach and the Siesta Key Village. The following stops will be discontinued:
- All stops on mainland Sarasota
- All stops north of Canal Rd on Siesta Key
- Stop ID 4437, Ocean Blvd @ Canal Rd (northbound only)
- Stop ID 4716, Ocean Blvd @ Calle Miramar (northbound only)
