Breeze Plus | Via (New Vendor)

As of April 1st, 2026, Breeze will be using a new vendor, Via, for its Breeze Plus Services. Please see the below updates reguarding this change:

Availability of disability-accommodating vehicles:

  • Standard sedans will be incorporated into the fleet. Customers who identify the need for a Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle, or for storage space for walkers and other mobility devices, will continue to be accommodated.
  • Vehicles may be labeled Breeze Plus or Breeze OnDemand; alternately-branded subcontractor vehicles will display the Breeze logo.

Whether prepaid vouchers will continue to be honored:

  • Paper tickets will not be accepted after March 31, 2026. Unused paper tickets can be exchanged for digital account credit at Breeze Administration (5303 Pinkney Ave, Sarasota) through March 31.

Any anticipated changes to contact information or service access:

  • Programs: the ADA, Transportation Disadvantaged (TD), and Veterans Medical programs will continue as described on this page.
  • Customer eligibility will automatically transfer to the new system.
  • Booking: customers may still call 941-777-6000 or use the Breeze Plus app to schedule a trip. 
  • Fare can be paid with a credit or debit card in the Breeze Plus/Breeze OnDemand app, or in cash to the driver.
  • Vehicle operators will continue to pass background checks and substance screenings, and participate in training activities, prior to working with Breeze Plus clients.
